Best Gardening Podcasts
Grow, Cook, Eat, Arrange
Sarah Raven is a formidable scientist, plantswoman and author and well known for the oasis she has created at Perch Hill in East Sussex, UK where she trails and sells flowers via https://www.sarahraven.com/
We love the distinctly British accents and perspectives that Sarah and co-host Arthur Parkinson bring to this plant feast!
Arthur worked for Sarah at Perch Hill for over ten years and they share a delectable way with plant words and exquisite taste in cut flowers. If you want to learn how to make a "bulb lasagna" or "the secret to sweet peas" then this show for you.
Best for gardeners and those passionate about home gardening, vegetable gardens, and sustainable planting practices. Sarah explores seasonal planting, garden style, and the art of floral arrangements with a practical yet inspiring approach.

Best Florist Podcasts
Slow Flowers Podcast
The Slow Flowers movement was founded by Debra Prinzing, an author, speaker, and advocate for the domestic American floral industry. She started the podcast to champion American-grown flowers, highlight sustainable farming practices, and give flower farmers and floral designers a platform to share real stories and practical advice. What began as a conversation about locally grown stems has become an invaluable resource for florists and designers looking to align their sourcing with eco-friendly values and seasonal beauty.
This was one of the first podcasts I was obsessed with when I started out as a florist and Debra has been a tireless mentor to me and so many others farmers and florists over the years.
If you want to get started growing, run a floristry business or want to find your community, this dedicated weekly show and enormous archives are packed with insights and opportunities to learn and grow together.
Botanical Brouhaha
Hosted by founder and creative Director, Amy McGee and florist Natalie Gill of Native Poppy, Botanical Brouhaha is all about capturing the human side of floral design, heartfelt interviews with florists, designers, and creative entrepreneurs who shape today’s floral industry. While you’ll find practical tips woven throughout, the real draw is hearing how personal stories, traditional home gardening techniques, and a love of natural materials come together to inspire garden style, floral artworks, and biophilic design.
We have long been listeners of the podcast and love it even more since Natalie joined for her honesty and wit. Amy also has the biggest heart and is a personal champion for her guests and the industry at large.
The blog of the same name also contains a wealth of information for new or experienced florists.

Great practical tips from sometimes surprisingly large business who started small. Shuang is great at asking targeted questions that you'll want to know the answers to.
How I Built This
Hosted by Guy Raz, How I Built This is the classic go-to for big-picture inspiration. Each episode goes behind the scenes with founders of some of the world’s best-known brands - think design firms, lifestyle companies, and creative startups, to unpack how they turned an idea into an empire. If you've been a listener for many years like I have you'll love the slow pace of Raz' interview style and his seemingly dumbfounded responses to how founders recovered from big set-backs before making it big through a mix of luck and hard work. It's a formula that has me hooked every time. If there was a prize for the sexiest nerdy podcast host it would definitely go to Guy!

My First Million
Hosted by Shaan Puri and Sam Parr, My First Million shares outlandish tales of success by some very intense people, from quirky startups to giant exits. It’s entertaining, a bit unhinged, but sprinkled with solid tidbits for the regular small business owner who wants to test new ideas, spot trends, or just get inspired to think bigger.
Why We Love Podcasts for Daily or Weekly Inspiration
Podcasts give you easy access to a wealth of knowledge, from expert interviews to interesting story telling and practical advice. Whether I'm tackling a challenge, exploring new design ideas, or facing a creative block, a good podcast can remind me I'm not alone, help me learn and grow or just be a good laugh, sometimes at 1.5x the speed.
I love that many of these shows discuss sustainable practices in home gardening and interior design, something that’s increasingly important whether you’re styling a terracotta-pot-filled patio, looking for a lawn alternative, or creating sustainable floral installations.
Keeping up with the latest in garden trends and interior style doesn’t require endless scrolling. A few well-chosen podcasts can keep your creative batteries charged while you work, walk or drive. Finally, a word to the wise - earbuds around the house are anti social (at least keep one ear available for your significant other(s).
