About Cape Lily
Cape Lily is a floral design business focused on connecting people to nature through floral experiences.
Founded in 2017, our studio designs elevated flowers for weddings & events, leads botanical workshops and small group travel and recently launched a range of floral wallpaper.
We are passionate about sourcing locally grown, seasonal and sustainable flowers in keeping with the "slow flowers" ethos and building a community of passionate flower and garden lovers in the New York area.
Sylvia Lukach
Creative Director
Sylvia founded Cape Lily in 2017. She grew up in South Africa, the daughter of a florist and a gardener. Her love of fynbos and the beach run deep.
Shelby Nine-Durso
Head of Design
Shelby joined Cape Lily in 2022. A teacher and graphic designer by training, she keeps Cape Lily running smoothly. Her soul lives in the desert.
Our Studio
Our studio is located within Makers Central, a shared space for Makers in Tarrytown, New York. Our businesses are united by an artisanal approach and the industries we serve, primarily hospitality and home. Our community inspires constant creativity and collaboration.
